| In 1898, a gentleman by the name of George Fitch founded the Fitch Dustdown Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. With the help of one of the firms’ most successful salesman, John Upton, who covered the east coast territory from Delaware to Florida, the company prospered. A Baltimore branch was opened in 1922 with Mr. Upton as the new owner. By the end of the mid 50’s the Ohio plant was shut down and in November 1965, Marvin Kirsner and Bernard Richmon purchased the company. |

| Over the years there has been much progress and many changes. Today, Fitchco owners are Lynne and Raymond Kirsner. We are a WBE with certification in the State of Maryland and the city of Baltimore. We provide a full line of janitorial cleaning supplies, cleaning equipment, including sales, rentals, demos, repair services, leasing, and classroom training both in the field and at our facility. |
